This is the most awaited festival that happens every second Saturday of the month in ISKCON Sri Narasimha Giridhari Mandir. The mula Deity of Sri Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Deva receives a grand ceremonial bath and vishesha upacharas during the festival. The nine deities of Lord Narasimha in His various forms Karanja Narasimha, Ahobila Narasimha, Yogananda Narasimha, Chatrvata Narasimha, Bhargava Narasinha, Jvala Narasimha, Malola Narasimha, Varaha Narasimha, Pavana Narasimha also receives an elaborate abhisheka during the festival.
The Lord is bathed with sacred items like panchagavya, panchamrita, visheshaarghya, fruit juices, sanctified water from 108 kalashas, sahasradhara, colorful flower petals. This abhisheka is elaborate, the Lord receives a grand bhoga offering during the ceremony. Various upacharas like natya, gaana and vadyasevas are also performed during the ceremonial bath. As Krishna states in Bhagavad gita: “bhogtaram yajna tapasam” everything in this universe is meant for the pleasure of Him. In this way the temple provides an opportunity for the artists to render their talent in the service of Sri Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Deva.
Thousands of devotees visit the temple every second saturday to see their beloved Lord receiving their service. Devotees offer their prayers to the Lord for protection of spiritual life. A grand feast is served after the festival.
